Cyberpunk is about alienation by way of technology, plain and simple. At the beginning of the digital age it was all just a fantasy, but now look–you're probably reading this on a computer that you keep in your pocket, while listening to music you don't physically own, while on your lunch break between shifts under the thumb of a megacorporation (trust me, I know from experience). So jack in, lose yourself, and try to cope like the rest of the New Scum as the world as we know it melts away.
