‘Deus Ex: Mankind Divided’ Game Announced

Here it is – the next instalment in the Deus Ex franchise will be Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. Check out the great trailer below – it’s a decent length and provides more details (story, gameplay, etc) than most other announcement trailers.

We did ask for this.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided directly follows the aftermath of the Aug Incident, a day when mechanically augmented citizens all over the world were stripped of control over their minds and bodies, resulting in the deaths of millions of innocents. The year is now 2029, and the golden era of augmentations is over. Mechanically augmented humans have been deemed outcasts and segregated from the rest of society. Crime and acts of terror serve as a thin veil to cover up an overarching conspiracy aimed at controlling the future of mankind…”

From the end of the trailer, we know that it’s coming soon (!!) to PS4, Xbox One and Steam (PC). It’s available to pre-order now, but sadly just from the Square Enix Online Store. Let’s hope the main platforms and retailers follow shortly.

If you need a catch up on the other games and media in the series, Neon Dystopia has got you covered.

Zymepunk was drawn into the world of cyberpunk by Deus Ex and Blade Runner and now looks both back and forwards in time for anything that may come close to those masterpieces.

  1. That looks…like the devs came to the reasonable conclusion that players wanna aug their Jensen to the max. Did you see that built in PEPS gun?
How simple would it be for the devs to make that a modular gun slot, right? Most of the animations/sounds would be the same.

    Excited!
